Demonstrations

In recent weeks, several demonstrations have taken place on the KTH Campus where students and externals protest the war in Gaza, a conflict that is terrible for all those affected and suffering. However, KTH as a university does not take a political position and is thus not the sender behind the protests even if they take place on our campus.

To ensure that the protests do not affect our regular operations, we have intensified our efforts to create the greatest possible security for our students, staff and visitors. Consequently, there may be extra security measures during the conference, such as security guards on site at the venue or police patrols on campus if there is a demonstration.

The conference is otherwise proceeding as planned and we look forward to welcoming you to KTH.
